Often times I have conversations with business owners that want a Website Designed and built. So many times I come across Company Websites that devote so much valuable real estate on the homepage to displaying company CO's and VP's personal bios. Certainly how a Business is managed and conducted is important information in some industries as it instills confidence in its prospective customers. But that should be in the interior of the Website. Let your customers chose to view that information if they should chose. A home page of a Website is like giving the customer the controls. Your customer should have the power to navigate through your website and view the information they need. Homepages of a Website should be devoted to general information and clear and concise navigation menus to interior pages that will offer the specific information that they need.

Budgeting For Website Maintenance

Just like your home, your Website will need maintenance on a regular basis. Search Engines love fresh and new relevant content.
