This article although about Joomla SEO and Search Engine Optimization also applies to static websites as well. SEO is the practice or utilization of teqniques or practices that enhance a websites ability to rank well in the Organic Search Engines. Now that is a mouth full. Bottom line there are practices of SEO that if implemented in the development of a website will gain favor with the search engines as far as how they view your website for relevancy.

A search engines job is to provide the best and most relevant information for any given subject or search. When developing a Website outside of the basic structure, the content on each and every page is one of the most important aspects of how a Website will rank in the search engines. There should be a flow of relevant and applicable keywords and content though out the webpage. Starting with the page title, h tags, and content flowing through to the footer.
